This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all subscription fees and other payments made for the services offered by AI Innerscope Technology Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website and SaaS platform, including our School ERP software. Payments are processed through our designated Payment Gateway(s). By making a payment, you agree to this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Subscription-Based Model

Our services are provided on a subscription basis. You pay for access to the Service for a defined period (e.g., monthly or annually). Subscription fees are charged in advance at the start of each billing cycle. We do not offer physical products or shipping; all deliverables are digital access to the Service. Refunds, where applicable, are governed solely by this Policy.

2. General Policy: No Refunds After Activation

Once your subscription has been activated and you have been granted access to the Service, subscription fees are non-refundable. This is because the Service is consumed upon use and we cannot recover the value of access already provided. By completing payment and activating your subscription, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this no-refund-after-activation policy, except where we expressly agree otherwise in writing or as set out in the eligibility conditions below.

3. Refund Eligibility Conditions

Refunds may be considered only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment: If you have been charged twice for the same subscription or the same billing period, we will refund the duplicate amount upon verification.
  • Payment before activation – cooling-off: If you request a refund before your subscription has been activated and before you have accessed the Service, we may, at our sole discretion, process a full refund if the request is received within seven (7) days of the payment date. This does not apply if you have already logged in or used the Service.
  • Technical failure: If a technical failure on our side prevented the Service from being delivered or made substantially unusable for a significant part of the paid period, and the issue could not be resolved by us within a reasonable time, we may offer a proportional refund or credit. Such decisions are at our sole discretion and require you to have reported the issue promptly.
  • Service not as described: If the Service materially differs from what was described at the time of purchase and the discrepancy cannot be remedied, you may contact us for a possible refund within fourteen (14) days of activation. We will assess each case on its merits.

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or no longer needing the Service after activation.
  • Partial use of the subscription period (e.g., unused months of an annual plan).
  • Failure to use the Service due to your own technical environment or negligence.
  • Termination of your account by you or by us for breach of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Any reason not explicitly listed under “Refund Eligibility Conditions” above.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request” and include: (a) the email address associated with your account; (b) the transaction ID or payment reference number; (c) the date and amount of payment; and (d) a clear explanation of why you believe you are eligible under this Policy. We will review your request and respond within seven (7) business days. Approval of any refund is at our sole discretion and subject to verification with our Payment Gateway and internal records.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

If your refund is approved:

  • We will process the refund within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from the date of approval.
  • The refund will be credited to the same payment method (e.g., card, UPI, net banking) used for the original transaction, via our Payment Gateway.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional five (5) to fifteen (15) business days for the amount to reflect in your account. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment networks.

6. Payment Gateway Refund Handling

Refunds are processed through the same Payment Gateway through which the original payment was made (e.g., Razorpay, PhonePe, or other integrated providers). The Gateway’s own terms and processing timelines apply to the movement of funds. We initiate the refund from our side once approved; the actual crediting of the amount depends on the Gateway and your bank or wallet provider. We do not charge any separate fee for processing eligible refunds. In the event of a failed refund (e.g., expired card, closed account), we will attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative method where feasible under our and the Gateway’s policies.

7. Cancellation Policy

Subscription cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us or through the account/cancellation options provided in the Service. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until the end of that period; no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the current period.

Auto-renewal: If your subscription is set to auto-renew, you must cancel before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. We will not refund amounts paid for a renewal that you did not cancel in time.

Our right to suspend or terminate: We may suspend or terminate your access and subscription in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. In such cases, no refund will be due for the current or any prior period.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with refunds or this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, without prejudice to the dispute resolution mechanism (including arbitration) set out in our Terms and Conditions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For any payment made before a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of that payment will apply to that transaction.
